Disneys_Epcot_Magic

DAY 1 CONTINUED:

I did not want to continue on about my ‘Day 1′ venture, so i thought i’d recap the day only talkig about the theme park my wife and i visited:

DAY 1:
Disneys-Epcot Epcot was on our mind, so we hopped the shuttle and made the trip to Epcot to discover the wonder, and to my surprise i got more than i expected. My wife and i first made our way to Disney’s “Spaceship Earth,” and it was great… For those that are not aware of the truth about me, this was my first trip to Disney Land and for a long time I was very skeptical about Disney and still am, about the Disney movies and cartoons that have tought pretentious morals and ethics, reinforced stereotypes, ect. to children throughout the years. However, this ride was amazing… Not too sure if i can call it educational but it was pretty interesting to see the lights and effects, great eye and mind candy.

Shortly after, we made our way to “The Land,” and into the line in which we waited 85 minutes for the next ride, “Soarin.” This ride is by far my favorite and very intense, and yes i used the hand bars and almost lost my clogs thanks to the pouty 10 year old from Tennessee that almost kicked them right off my feet. Sitting there with my toes curled while we soar over the SAN FRANSISCO bridge was a bit electrifying, well, because for some odd reasons i believed that i was really going to lose my clogs. Yeah, i wear clogs… This is a must see for everyone who ever gets the chance to visit Disney World. Remember SOARIN… located in Epcot, just get there early or get a Free Pass so you’re not stuck in line for an hour or two.

The next adventure was to “The Seas with Nemo and Friends.” This show was very cool, and that is really all that i can say about it. If you enjoyed Finding Nemo, as i did then this ride is for you…
