Man, i miss the Florida Keys sunsets...
DAY 5
Today was cool, we had a very unfortunate inconvenience, which i was aware of from the jump but still a very large inconvenience. We spent 5 days at the Coronado Springs Resort, Sunday through Thursday and had to check-out by 11am in order to move to another resort because our room was booked for Thursday night and all of the other rooms were occupied. WTH? All of the rooms booked for one night? Well, we moved to the resort 'Port Orleans - French Quarters'. A pretty cool low-key resort with great food at a reasonable price. I may sound like a broken record here, but Coronado Springs is by far, according to the Disney pamphlet, the most expensive resort to dine-in at. However, the food is by far the worst food that we've had during our vacation.

Well, we get settled in the room at the Port Orleans - French Quarter resort and the room is questionable but bigger with a king size bed, a 27" tv (i know, i know), pretty nice furniture, but the bathroom resembled that of a high school locker room, no joke. I had a good laugh at the bathroom, and the "stadium" lighting. No serious, the four lights over the bed acted more like spotlights that hit every corner of the room and even the people outside, no one was safe. The only problem that i had with the room, besides the bathtubless high school locker room bathroom, was that in this locker room bathroom there were all sorts of cracks and holes. Let me tell it like this, the vent above the sink was completely hanging out of its fixture, the tile in the shower was cracked from the floor of the shower midway up, and the a section beneath the sink was missing. The whole layout and everything was a bit wierd and althought i enjoyed the room and resort, the bathroom freaked me out and in a way it shocked me a bit, well, to put it like this... A company, charging families thousands of dollars to visit it's theme parks and stay at it's resorts could do much better then what we've seen. I am just one person, but then again i'm also a consumer, and paying customer. People these days seem to lose the idea of providing quality services when a cash tip is not involved.
Downtown now, Next Hollywood
Anyways, today, we made our way back to Downtown Disney and ate at 'Planet Hollywood.' Normally, i would provide pics but my wife forgot the camera in the room, but... you should just take my word for... the food was great. Not just great, but with a capital G great. I ordered the hand-made Manicotti, and my wife ordered the beef lasange, which was really good. I recommend these dishes, if you are a first timer and love pasta. The best food so far that we found downtown, then again there is the House of Blues and The Wolf-Gang Puck Cafe, so to each his own. After dinner, we did some walking around Downtown Disney and then all of a sudden the thunder came, followed by lightning, well and then you guessed it, rain... Luckily, our shuttle came just in time... Needless to say, we spent the rest of the night at the resort just taking it easy and preparing for the day 6...
