Observations
It was brought to my attention the other day that blogging about making money online is probably becoming an over saturated niche of empty promises and lost efforts. Let’s face it, most blogs with the exception of three, so far, that i am aware of (not listed above) are making good money blogging about ‘making money online,’ and offering ‘blogging tips.’
By looking at the list alone you will clearly see that blogging about blogging or making money online is not the way to go. If you are blogging in hopes to earn enough revenue to leave your day job or avoid the 9-5 cubicle human trap then take note (grab a pen). Research a new niche.
If you go over the list once again, you will see that Problogger is the only site that covers ‘making money online’ and ‘blogging tips.’ Unless you have the expertise of Darren Rowse, John Chow, or Yaro Starak then you can take it somewhere or possibly to new heights. If not then focus on another niche that has yet to be discovered or become over saturated. Celebrity Gossip is hot right now, or probably has always been.
Why not take it a step further and focus on local gossip, or local businesses. Starting small and starting simple has never hurt anyone. I hope this helps…

We noticed that also, everyone tells how to “make money online”, or says that “my blog will be a case study for making money online”, but maybe there are already to much blogs that covers that niche, like you say in your post, its getting a little saturated

I have to agree you get some great ideas from the sites above, just proves that thinking outside the box pays off.
Interesting though with Problogger on the list, seems a bit out of place…
Excellent article, although small it contains a lot of helpfull information to avoid overcrowded niche blogs. Local ones are an excellent alternative. Check out our website for some other cool entrepreneur tips, at —-
