Peace of Mind

“I believe that a life of integrity is the most fundamental source of personal worth. I do not agree with the popular success literature that says that self-esteem is primarily a matter of mind set, of attitude—that you can psych yourself into peace of mind. Peace of mind comes when your life is in harmony with true principles and values and in no other way.”

- Stephen R. Covey

One Response to “Peace of Mind”

Covey has rightly said so. Peace of mind is no doubt an important thing and that depends upon different things according to different people. For some people, living for others is one of the major source of peace of mind. Some say that life is all about living happy and that is definitely linked with the idea of living for others and spreading happiness. One way of doing so is to give others something which others lack/need. There are people who work for others’ happiness by launching social service projects. One of my acquaintance has started a non-profit online journal for the similar objective. SCIMASS is a non-profit, international online peer reviewed quarterly journal for the promotion and support of authentic academic research. Its objective is to work for the promotion of quality research and to provide a platform of publication to the researchers who have limited access to resources and cannot grow well in their research. The journal will provide all possible means to let them boost their research capabilities and share their knowledge with the fellow researchers all around the world.
