The Art of Juggling

Juggling is in fact an art form indeed, and although some people will say that juggling is difficult I'll tell you what, everyone in their own way is a professional juggler. Maybe not in the traditional sense but definitely as life comes at you learn to juggle the every day to day tasks.

What is Juggling?

Juggling is a form of skillful, often artful, object manipulation. The most recognizable form of juggling is toss juggling, where the juggler throws objects through the air. Jugglers often refer to the objects they juggle as props, the most popular being balls, beanbags, rings, clubs, or bouncing balls. Some performers use "dangerous" objects such as chainsaws, knives and fire torches, although when done by a trained performer are far less dangerous than they appear.

A Bloggers 'object' Manipulation

As a blogger there are a few things that you must learn to juggle and of these few things there are those that are most important:

* Family

* Life/ Health

* Professional Work

Me personally, I have a lot of experience when it comes to juggling responsibilities. As an entrepreneur with a growing online network and a professional career on the rise juggling seems to come natural to me. However, within this past week I may have overdone myself. With a new house added to the picture and being a few weeks shy of becoming a first time father my attitude and juggling habits is in need of some adjusting... major adjusting.

I recently mowed the lawn for the first time today and I swear just as i was about to call it quits I received a 'Worst lawn in the subdivision' 2nd place award (not too sure if it was the HOA or not), but man what a way to welcome the new family to the neighborhood, needless to say i have issues with authority and believe that 'Home Owner Associations' are a waste of time and money. So i will be taking some time to run for the HOA board... I know it sounds dumb but I can't make change standing outside preaching through a bullhorn, real change comes with actions.

So if you have noticed that this blog has been a bit bare lately, we have out work pretty much mapped out for us and are really trying hard to keep up with the things that we are currently juggling (a new shop launch planned for next month, a training session coming to it's end, a brand new house to manage, a yard to attend to (lol), two new trainings to design  and complete, and the list goes on) but i don't want to bother you with everything that i have going on.

What are some of the things that you are currently juggling? What helps you to stay afloat?

    That’s alot to have on one plate. In my life, it’s just my wife and me. And even then, I find it difficult to give here enough “us” time.

    I guess, this is always a work in progress.

    Good post though.

    Hey great post!

    I’m currently juggling my family life, blogging (I maintain two blogs), looking for a job (recent college grad), various other writing projects and just enjoying life.

    But when I was a student and had to juggle multiple classes, I had to learn to prioritize. It was hard, but once I got the hang of it, things really fell into place. Multi-tasking really is an art form.
