The WordPress Headache

So… for some odd reason i got the bright idea to upgrade a blog of mine only to have the fate of correcting and fixing code and compatibility issues for the last three days. Needless to say i’m pretty pissed about the problem and i guess there are others out there as well feeling the frustration… I’ve read the support forums and searched and searched and searched some more for easy fixes. Well that was a waste of time… on the forums any question that was remotely close to mine had yet to be answered by a mod or developer but i figure, what the hell i know a little php myself… well here we are, days later and i’m finding new problems to the ones i fixed yesterday. Everything worked fine yesterday before I called it a night and this morning… wth? Everything fell the hell… So for me, there will be more days of php coding and correcting… I must say thank goodness this is not a paid-license software…

I may be switching from WordPress soon… Any ideas on good alternatives?
